Das Unternehmen hat die Lizenzrechte f\u00fcr geothermische Sole und Lithium (Aufsuchungslizenzen) durch direkte Antr\u00e4ge bei den Bergbau\u00e4mtern der Bundesl\u00e4nder Rheinland-Pfalz, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg und Hessen erworben. Alle Erkundungslizenzen wurden gem\u00e4\u00df dem Bundesberggesetz (BBergG) f\u00fcr die gewerbliche Erkundung der bergbaufreien mineralischen Ressourcen geothermische Sole und Lithium von der Beh\u00f6rde erteilt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-last-item\">Vulcan plant, seine Lizenzgebiete stufenweise zu entwickeln. Im Anschluss an die erste Projektphase &#8220;Lionheart&#8221; sind entsprechend weitere Phasen geplant.\u200b<br \/>\nVulcans Projekt sieht die Errichtung einer Anlage zur Gewinnung von Lithium und zur Erzeugung Erneuerbarer Energie vor. Das daf\u00fcr vorgesehenen Grundst\u00fcck liegt innerhalb des geplanten Landauer Gewerbegebietes \u201eAm Messegel\u00e4nde S\u00fcdost\u201c.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In der G-LEP in Landau wird in Zukunft hei\u00dfes Wasser zur Erzeugung von klimaneutraler W\u00e4rme und gr\u00fcnem Strom genutzt. Diese werden dann den B\u00fcrgerinnen und B\u00fcrgern in Landau und Umgebung zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt.<\/li>\n<li>Vulcan verhandelt einen W\u00e4rmeabnahmevertrag mit der Stadt Landau. Vulcan will der Stadt bei der Dekarbonisierung der W\u00e4rmeversorgung\u00a0 helfen und sie bei der Abkehr von fossilen Energietr\u00e4gern unterst\u00fctzen<\/li>\n<li>Das Lithium wird in der Lithiumextraktionsanlage (LEP) aus dem Thermalwasser extrahiert, bevor es wieder zur\u00fcck in den Untergrund geleitet wird \u2013 ein geschlossener Kreislauf. Ziel davon ist es, die W\u00e4rme aus der geothermischen Sole in einen geschlossenen Brauchwasserkreislauf zu leiten, der das hei\u00dfe Wasser durch Rohre zum Fernw\u00e4rmegeb\u00e4ude und zu den ORC-Anlagen leitet. Sobald die W\u00e4rme im Fernw\u00e4rmegeb\u00e4ude und in der ORC-Anlage verbraucht ist, wird das kalte Wasser zur\u00fcck zum W\u00e4rmetauscher verbracht.<\/li>\n<li>Die gek\u00fchlte, lithiumreiche Sole wird vom zwischengeschalteten W\u00e4rmetauscher zur Lithiumextraktionsanlage geleitet, wo die Lithiumextraktion stattfindet.<\/li>\n<li>Dieses Vorgehen hat gro\u00dfe betriebliche Vorteile: Einer der gr\u00f6\u00dften Vorteile liegt in der Reinheit des hei\u00dfen Brauchwassers, das die Fernw\u00e4rme- und ORC-Anlage speist. Hierdurch besteht kein Risiko f\u00fcr Ablagerungen.
