<\/h2>\n\n      <div class=\"block\">\n      <p class=\"mb-last-item\">Im April 2024 hat Vulcan mit der Produktion des ersten Lithiumchlorids (LiCl) aus der Lithiumextraktionsoptimierungsanlage (LEOP) in Landau begonnen. F\u00fcr den langfristigen Betrieb wird Vulcans leistungsstarkes auf Aluminat basierendes Sorptionsmittel VULSORB\u00ae verwendet. Der n\u00e4chste Schritt wird die Verarbeitung zu batteriefertigem Lithiumhydroxidmonohydrat (LHM) in Vulcans nachgelagerter Optimierungsanlage (CLEOP) sein. Das in der LEOP produzierte LiCl-Produkt (40%ige L\u00f6sung) wird zum Industriepark H\u00f6chst in Frankfurt transportiert, wo Vulcan derzeit die CLEOP fertigstellt.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-last-item\">Die Optimierungsanlagen LEOP und CLEOP sind die Vorl\u00e4ufer der geplanten kommerziellen Anlagen, die eine Produktionskapazit\u00e4t von 24.000 Tonnen LHM pro Jahr haben werden. Seit Anfang November 2024 ist diese Anlage offiziell er\u00f6ffnet und produziert das erste Lithiumhydroxid, das vom Rohstoff bis zum Endprodukt nachhaltig in Europa hergestellt wurde.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-last-item\">Die CLEOP dient vor allem der Optimierung von Betriebsabl\u00e4ufen, der Durchf\u00fchrung von Produktqualit\u00e4tstests und der Schulung von Vulcans Personals in Vorbereitung auf den Betriebsbeginn der kommerziellen Produktionsanlagen.
