Community & Stakeholder Engagement
Open dialogue and meaninful engagement help us understand perspectives, address concerns and build lasting relationships.

Vulcan is committed to building trusted relationships with communities, landowners, government agencies, industry partners, employees, investors and other stakeholders. As our projects progress, we seek to engage openly, respectfully and transparently with those who may be affected by, or have an interest in, our activities.
Meaningful engagement helps us understand stakeholder perspectives, identify and manage potential impacts, respond to concerns and create positive outcomes for local communities. We believe that early and ongoing dialogue is essential to responsible project development and maintaining our social licence to operate.

Our approach
Our stakeholder engagement approach is guided by internationally recognised good practice and is supported by our Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP). The framework establishes a consistent approach to stakeholder identification, engagement, consultation, disclosure, feedback management and grievance handling across the project lifecycle.
Stakeholder engagement activities are tailored to project stages and stakeholder needs and may include:
Community information sessions and consultation meetings
Meetings with municipalities, regulators and government agencies
Engagement with landowners and neighbouring communities
Discussions with industry groups, academic institutions and civil society organisations
Public information materials and project updates
Feedback and grievance mechanisms
Digital and written disclosure of project information

Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Engagement
Stakeholder engagement forms an important part of the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process for the Lionheart Project. Through consultation activities, stakeholders are provided with information about project activities, potential environmental and social impacts, proposed mitigation measures and opportunities to provide feedback.
This engagement supports transparency, improves project planning and helps ensure stakeholder views are considered as projects progress.
Feedback and Grievances
We encourage stakeholders to raise questions, concerns or feedback about our activities. Vulcan maintains processes to receive, assess and respond to stakeholder feedback in a timely and transparent manner.
Feedback received through engagement activities helps inform decision-making, improve project outcomes and strengthen relationships with our stakeholders. We are committed to listening, responding and continuously improving our approach to engagement.
