The Upper Rhine Valley at the centre of our action Regional development locations

The Upper Rhine Valley region has a particularly advantageous geological configuration: at a depth of around 3,600 metres lies a very large resource of geothermal brine, notable for its high lithium concentration. Few regions in the world offer such favourable conditions for the co-production of lithium and geothermal renewable energy.
